Why are so many people scrooges when it comes to NYE?
I love it! The options are endless, I’ve done the fireworks in London and Edinburgh, even in the middle of the sea on a boat. The last few years I’ve spent with the same group of friends having a meal and drinks in the comfort of our own homes. The memories made are priceless.
This year we decided to dress up and go for a meal before drinks back at home. We had our standard round of beer pong, ring of fire and boogie in the kitchen. Lots of giggles were had and I was grateful to see 2016 in with the people who’ve supported me the most throughout last year.

The bucket list for future NYE’s include:
- A bar over looking Times Square, watching the famous crystal ball descend.
- Dancing on the beaches of Goa, surrounded by tinkling lights and stars.
- The ultimate dream would be to see the new year in under the northern lights, but I’m not sure if this is a thing?
What are your perfect NYE plans?
